Advertising Campaign Book | Kmart

Designed an advertising campaign in a DePaul Master's class that aimed to increase sales at Kmart locations around the United States. Kmart has had to close many stores throughout the last few years due to declining sales, so the campaign addresses what can be done to revive the brand. I have also included the presentation deck. (Autumn 2015: Principles of Advertising, Writing Sample & Multimedia)

Created a media audit in a DePaul Masters class for the Volkswagen Emissions Scandal that became headline news in 2015. The audit includes an in-depth analysis of the scandal including what steps have been taken to address the problem as well as what I would advice VW to do to improve their brand image.(Autumn 2015: Principles of Public Relations, Writing Sample)

Ethics Audit | Mattel & Barbie

Wrote a brand audit for Mattel and Barbie. In early 2016 Mattel launched a new line of Barbies called the, "Fashionista", line. The line features three new body types: curvy, petite, and tall along with 23 different skin tones and hair colors. The dolls have received both positive and negative feedback and generated much discussion from parents of young children who are playing with Barbie dolls. I have also included the presentation deck. (Winter 2016: Communication Law & Ethics, Writing Sample & Multimedia)

Leadership Profile | Jodi Fyfe

Interviewed the President of Paramount Events, Jodi Fyfe. She founded Paramount Events in 2011 in Chicago after years of education and professional experience in the hospitality and culinary industry. Today, Fyfe is responsible for over 12,000 events each year ranging from weddings, to food festivals, to corporate vents, and everything in-between. After the interview was completed and the Let Go & Lead article was written, I presented in front of a board of industry professionals at Gagen MacDonald. The article was then published on Gagen MacDonald's website. Find the article here.
